Organizational Readiness for fundraising is tailored to nonprofits, focusing on preparing them to secure funding, particularly through grants. This comprehensive training session equips participants with the knowledge and tools to assess and strengthen their nonprofit's readiness to attract funding sources. Through interactive discussions. real-life case studies, and hands-on exercises, attendees will learn to evaluate their nonprofit's current state, identify potential barriers to securing grants, and develop targeted strategies to overcome these obstacles. Key areas covered include aligning leadership and optimizing resources and technology to meet grant funding requirements. Founder & CEO, Ascend Nonprofit & Business Solutions LLC Arlene Siller, Ph.D

Arlene Siller is the Founder and CEO of Ascend Nonprofit & Business Solutions (NBS) in San Antonio, Texas. Ascend NBS has raised over $25 million since 2019 for multiple nonprofit organizations helping them fund their mission. Arlene is a trainer for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Established & Ready to Grow Program, the Kronkosky Foundation, the Small Business Administration’s T.H.R.I.V.E. executive-level training program and is a featured trainer on numerous other platforms with other agencies.

Refund/Credit Policy

  • The San Antonio Area Foundation has a no refund policy.

    If a workshop and/or class has been unexpectedly cancelled and/or postponed by the Area Foundation, a refund or credit towards another workshop and/or class will be issued. If a registrant is unable to attend a workshop and/or class, a substitute may be sent or a credit may be issued. No credits will be given for cancellations received less than 48 hours before a workshop.
