HOLT Values-Based Leadership™ Fellows Program
The HOLT Values-Based Leadership™ Fellows Program is a unique, interactive leadership development program for 501(c)(3) executives. The program provides training to nonprofit CEOs, from those new to the role to seasoned executives, as well as senior-level leaders poised for executive leadership. Senior-level leaders include those in roles who report directly to the CEO, manage a departmental budget and oversee staff.
The curriculum for the 9-month program centers around the HOLT’s Values Based Leadership™ model and other proven leadership concepts developed and implemented by HOLT CAT over the last 30 years. Other local experts provide training in communication, strategic planning, diversity, equity and inclusion and more.
Applications are due by July 6th. All applicants will be notified of their status no later than August 10th.

Program Highlights
- Values-Based Leadership™ training led by HOLT Development Services, Inc. (used by HOLT CAT and Spurs Sports and Entertainment).
- Nonprofit management training taught by local experts.

- Earn a certificate upon successful completion of a capstone presentation and fulfilling the attendance requirement.

Am I required to attend the Orientation?
Orientation is part of the program and supports participants’ success.

What will the orientation session cover?
The orientation will set expectations for participants and is a perfect forum to begin to network with peers in the program.

What is the format of the class?
All sessions are in-person and locations will be announced in advance.

Will the sessions be recorded if I have to miss?
Sessions will not be recorded. Participants must commit to attending in person.

How many sessions can be missed?
his is an interactive course that requires participant commitment and attendance. Fellows can miss no more than two class days to complete the program and earn a certificate.

How do I pay?

San Antonio Area Foundation Cancellation & Refund Policy

If a Course Is Cancelled or Postponed by the Area Foundation
If a workshop or class is unexpectedly cancelled or postponed by the Area Foundation, a refund or credit toward another workshop or class will be issued.

If You Can’t Attend and Want to Send a Substitute
Cohort program classes are non-transferable and intended solely for the individual who registered.

Refund Policy for Cancellations by Registrants
If a registrant is unable to attend a cohort program and would like a refund, please notify the Learning and Development team at [email protected]. Cohort refunds are subject to a 5% administrative fee. Refunds are not available within 72 hours of the course start time.
