Application and Transfer of Learning
This two-part course will help equip you and your organization to embrace the power of human diversity and to learn how to integrate DEI into your organization’s practices, policies, and programming. Part 2 builds on the DEI theory and concepts covered in Part 1 of this course. Each learning exercise is designed with application and transfer of learning in mind.
1. Students will conduct a high-level DEI needs assessment and how to analyze the results.
2. Based on the results of your needs assessment; students will create or review your current DEI policies.
3. Learn and apply DEI-centric engagement tools that promote a sense of organizational belonginess.
4. Evaluate selected organizations’ programming, website, and other forms of media for both exclusive and inclusive language.
5. Review and comprehend instructor led case-scenarios framed around varying levels and types of inequity.

If a registrant is unable to attend a workshop and/or class, a substitute may be sent or a credit may be issued. No credits will be given for cancellations received less than 48 hours before a workshop.
