Advanced Decision Making for Today's Nonprofit Leaders (Virtual)

October 31st (Tuesday) from 9 am. to noon

Course Description...  At some point, every nonprofit leader, board member, or nonprofit stakeholder, will likely face their own unique version of a tough or impossible decision. It may be due to a sector-wide challenge, such as an economic recession, civil unrest, donor lethargy, loss of a major funder’s support, the sunsetting of a grant cycle, etc. It can also be an organization-specific hardship, such as the loss of a major funder’s support due to decision-making outcomes by the board of directors or some other executive. No matter the cause, tough times force hard choices.

During a crisis, strategic decision-making becomes even more critical. Moreso, after the events of the last five years, major legislative changes, and a looming election— nonprofits across the country will be faced with tough decisions, uncertain projections, and donor uncertainty. Regardless, decisions must be made, and somebody must make them—that somebody is you. This online course will lead nonprofit leaders through a series of learning activities framed around the following course objectives.
